Frequently Asked Questions
Here are some answers to questions we think you might have:
What should I wear?
Attire is dressy casual.
What exactly do we mean by that? Men do not need to wear a suit. Derek will be wearing one, but our groomsmen will not be. The bridemaids will be wearing light summer dresses. Something dressier than jeans and a t-shirt but less dressy than a suit or formal gown is perfect. Remember you will be getting your groove on in an un-airconditioned barn, so plan accordingly!
The grounds of the inn range from grass to gravel to the wood floor of the barn. High heels would be difficult to walk around in. (But they usually are!)
Why are you getting married in NH?
We wanted to get married in New England to be close to our families, but we didn't want to have a formal, big city wedding. An inn in NH seemed perfect. When we saw the Brass Heart Inn with its big barn and friendly, laid-back owners, we knew it was the right place. Plus, Liz's parents had their first kiss just down the road from Chocorua, only a few decades earlier...
(And Derek and his dad almost got lost forever on Mt Chocorua when the path they chose down the mountain turned out to be a lot farther that it looked on the map!)
Where are you registered?
See the registry page for more details on that.
Which one of you would win an arm-wrestling match?
You'll have to come to the wedding and find out.

I'm going to be real dsiappointed if this whole arm-wrestling thing doesn't actually happen.
